Welcome to 'englishpool'.No, before you ask, we're nothing to do with the popular pub game...englishpool started from the ashes of a small English Language school chain that imploded several years ago. After the fall of the franchise company the school owners and staff decided to take matters into their own hands, and decided to keep going. Realizing that we could be stronger as a group we needed a new name, hence 'englishpool'. And therefore started the confusion...we now get countless hits per week for swimming pools and the pub game... If you've read this far you're probably now thinking, 'What does 'englishpool do then?' Well it's principal reason for being is to provide support for the three schools that carry our name in Kasai, Tsukishima and Waseda. The kind of support is supplying teachers, provising training, selecting resources etc, infact all the things that the head office did before. But we don't want to stop there...so on the following pages you'll find lesson ideas, guides to living in Japan, education news from around the world, as well as the occasional job opening available in our schools.
